Ron and Henry

Or Coffin Henry and Foul Ole Ron if you prefer.  Named after two beggars in Ankh Morpork, on the Discworld – all our cats have been named for Pratchett characters.

They are eight weeks old – mother is a British Blue, apparently.  We didn’t see her.  Father unknown 🙂  Ron is jet black all over, as far as I can tell, and Henry is going to be extraordinary, as he is showing signs of being a blue tabby.

They are utterly fearless – we let them out of the cat carrier and they were *off*.  No question of hiding – they just hurtled round the house for about three hours.  They had something to eat, investigated the litter trays, checked out the house thoroughly, then crashed out on my desk for a while.

We left them there when we went to bed, having shown them the nice box with a fleecy blanket and a cat hot water bottle.  Within 15 minutes they’d arrived in the bedroom, and there they stayed all night.  They both spent time _under_ the duvet, and time sproinging about and wrastling.  We gave up and got up at 6 … 🙂

The other cats are, to put it mildly, unimpressed.  We are utterly smitten 🙂
