We feed the Tribe, mostly, on Whiskas tins, supplemented by the odd Whiskas pouch as a treat, minced raw turkey, and the occasional tin of tuna. And there’s always bikkit of some sort.

However, they’ve been looking slightly askance at their daily fare of late, so when I trundled off to Costco this week (not for catfood particularly, but because the Roomba was dead) I picked up some Felix cans.

In a spirit of enquiry, I put a tin of cod and plaice Felix down yesterday afternoon; it lasted about an hour.  So then I put a tin of chicken Felix down yesterday evening; it suffered a similar fate. Ron was waddling …I think were we to switch them to Felix full time we would be bankrupt in very short order, so it will have to be interspersed with Whiskas.

Nice to see them enjoying their food again, though.

  1. We get Felix in huge double trays from Pets at Home for a pittance. Hadn’t occurred to me that it was particularly expensive.

  2. Oh… but they don’t like the beef.
