Despite having ADSL *and* cable here, we’ve been having problems with connectivity this week. I plan to do some diagnostics in the next couple of days – closing WAN channels on the firewall, rebooting cable modem and ADSL router, that sort of thing.
But now I think I see the problem – pluth in the comms stack. A difficult one to solve, I fear …

Oh dear. Quoting lolcats: “If it’s not for sits, why is it made of warm?”. A friend has had to rescue her external hard drive from a fluffy fate recently as well….btw, I love this site…..
